— I never imagined that a single word could change my life forever.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I was overwhelmed by fear, uncertainty, and countless questions. Like many women, I searched for answers, but what I found were statistics, predictions, and messages that left me feeling even more vulnerable.
So I chose to look elsewhere.
I looked to my mother, who had faced the same disease years before and was still living a full and joyful life. I looked to my grandmother, who had also walked that path. I looked to other extraordinary women who, despite adversity, continued to smile, work, love, and embrace life with courage..
Through them, I learned that cancer can change many things, but it does not have to define who we are or limit our ability to live fully. I discovered that hope can be learned, nurtured, and shared—and that our stories have the power to transform lives.
That conviction led me to create Comunidad MUSAS.
Today, we work to ensure that no woman faces this journey alone. We strive to provide information, support, resources, and a community that reminds every woman of her strength, her worth, and her ability to write new chapters in her life.
MUSAS was born from a personal experience, but it has grown into a community of women who inspire other women to live with hope, dignity, and purpose.
They become
my musas.
